Provide customer service, respond to inquiries from property owners and the general public regarding property appraisal process, values established, and laws governing the valuation of property, and perform duties within the scope of authority and training and in compliance with County policies.

Apply County policies and procedures to determine fair market value for residential and personal property.

Develop fair and equitable assessment of residential and personal property located within the County for ad valorem tax purposes and for proper classification of taxable property and improvements.

Conduct on-site inspections of various types of new and existing residential land, property, and structures.

Determine type, quality, and condition of property and verify and document property characteristics.

Process data collected and enter information into specialized software application databases.

Review and process technical documents, which describe real property, boundaries, attributes, and ownership.

Review technical documents and other records to evaluate data quality and accuracy.
